Melting Pot Festival
19th - 21st July
This amazing festival in Ostrava, the Czech Republic celebrates creativity, innovation and future-forward thinking. Juliet will be interviewing Brazilian dancer, acrobat, capoeirist and lecturer Bboy Neguin, Nathaly Charria, whose work merges art, music, and fashion to create full-sensory experiences. She will also be in conversation with Bruno Marion (FRA) and Amit Goswami (IND/USA) about the how to thrive in a. World of chaos and the Quantum Physics’ Guide to Enlightenment. Website here

The Also Festival bathed in sunshine for it's fifth year! The festival that Juliet created with the team behind Salon London, Helen Bagnall and Diccon Towns took place on 29th June - 1st July. The festival combined singing, music, interactive talks, workshops, ideas, amazing food and dancing all by a beautiful lake.The i Paper says it 'promises to blow your mind', the London Evening Standard as 'the place to be’. The Metro says you 'owe it to your brain to check it out', DOSE recommends it for 'healthy hedonists', The Independent admires the programming that 'encourages experiences without constraints' and New Scientist loves the thought of 'tea & theoretical physics’ - and why not? The Voice Kids is returning for a second series from 8pm on ITV1 on July 14. The winner will get £30,000 and a family trip to Disneyland Paris. The show will be broadcast across eight days with new episodes each night - starting with the Blind auditions with the Live Finals on Saturday 21st July. Expect some amazing performances, fun exchanges and a lot of fantastic young voices.
Ruti wins The Voice 2018
Ruti was crowned the 2018 winner of The Voice, after an emotional performance of Dreams by The Cranberries. The 18 year old winner also sang a beautiful rendition of Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World with her legendary coach and mentor, Sir Tom Jones.
British Lung Foundation
On 2nd June, together with music therapist and vocal coach Phoene Cave, Juliet delivered a day of training for Singing for Lung Health leaders for the British Lung Foundation, with singing leaders from throughout the UK.
Juliet attended the BAFTAs at the Royal Festival Hall on 13th May, as both The Voice UK and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show were nominated for best entertainment programme.

Matt Maltese releases his debut album, Bad Cintestant. The record has received rave reviews with four stars coming from Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, NME, and Q, and five from DIY. NPR crowned Bad Contestant “love songs for the end of the world”, and Noisey labelled Matt a teenage Jarvis Cocker, “if he’d spent more time at The Windmill pub in Brixton and was in a better mood.” While Wonderland said “the songs twinkle with sincerity and hopefulness” just as Another Man lauded the record’s “to-the-bone depictions of young life.” MattMaltese.com
On Monday 16th April, singers gathered with Juliet and Flexie Muiso to celebrate World Voice Day in a 2 hour singing workshop to raise awareness of organ donation and raise funds for Miika’s rehabilitation. Read Miika’s story here.
